(WMC-TV) – Two former University of Memphis Tigers had run-ins with the law over the weekend.

According to police, Jeremy Hunt was arrested for domestic violence. He is accused of choking and head butted his girlfriend at his Cordova apartment. He also has a drunk driving case pending from last fall.

The former Tiger and Craigmont star is currently playing basketball in Europe. He last played from the University of Memphis in 2007.

Wesley Witherspoon, who recently finished his career as a Tiger, was arrested early Sunday morning when officers responded to a fight near 2nd Street and Beale Street.

After it was over, police say Witherspoon repeatedly refused to get out of the street. He was charged with obstructing a passageway.

His charges were dismissed by the court Monday morning.
