Officer honored for work helping find Bain sisters

(WMC-TV) - An officer who helped rescue the Bain sisters from suspect Adam Mayes is being honored for his work.

Guntown, Mississippi police officer Bobby Joe Buse was recognized during a police memorial luncheon in Jackson for helping find Mayes last week.

"It's an honor to have a small agency, to have an officer that can produce that type of quality work," said Guntown Police Chief Michael Hall.

Meanwhile, funeral arrangements are now set for murder victims JoAnn Bain and her daughter, Adrienne Bain.  A private service is planned at the Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home of Oakland, Tennessee.

You can make a donation to the Bain/Johnson Family Fund at any Farmers and Merchants Bank Branch in Tennessee.
