(WMC-TV) - The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Tennessee has busted an alleged heroin ring in the city of Memphis.
Twenty-one people were indicted in what is being called the Harold McDuffie Drug Trafficking Organization.
Six of those named in the indictment have the last name "McDuffie."
Investigators say the family and accomplices brought in huge amounts of heroin to Memphis from Chicago via mass transportation and couriers. It was used to supply stash houses where the drugs were packaged and distributed.
