(WMC-TV) – A man is under arrest after police say he broke into a home and fell through the ceiling twice.
A witness called police Sunday after seeing a man knock on a door, peek through the windows, and later kick in the back door at a home on Masterson Street in south Memphis.
When officers arrived, they found a hole in the kitchen ceiling, which looked like someone had fallen through from the attic.
While investigating, they heard a noise in the attic. Shortly afterward, they watched as Luther Street fell through the bedroom ceiling.
With the help of a K9 unit, Street was arrested and is charged with aggravated burglary and vandalism.
The estimated cost of damages to the home from the suspect falling through the ceiling is $2,500.
