MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - Three women are behind bars and two are at Juvenile Hall after an attempt to steal an iPhone goes wrong.

Troy Gannaway's Dodge Ram was parked between Washington Avenue and N. 4th Street on June 24. The car was burglarized, and Gannaway's iPhone 4 was taken. Gannaway turned to technology and used the application called "Find My Phone Tracker."

The tracking service led Gannaway to the Krystal's located at 1577 Union Ave. Gannaway says he then called his cell phone, and witnessed a woman in a nearby car answer it. The woman, later identified as Wanda Carruthers was sitting in the back of a dark green GM Denali at time of the call.

Gannaway called police and waited for them to arrive. Police found Gannaways stolen iPhone and returned it to him.

Officers then arrested suspects Wanda Carruthers, Toriana Carruthers and Nikkitta Carruthers. Marbrinesha Holmes and Quinterrica Gray were also found inside on the vehicle, and they were taken to Juvenile Hall.
