Two Memphis women sentenced in Miss. bank holdups

ABERDEEN, Miss. (AP) - Two Memphis, Tenn., women have been sentenced for their roles in Marshall County, Miss., bank robberies.

Starlet Kizer and Angela Bryson Miller were arrested in November in Memphis. They were convicted in federal court in Aberdeen for the 2010 robberies of Slayden Bank in Lamar and Citizens' Bank in Byhalia.

The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports ( that U.S. District Judge Sharion Aycock this week sentenced each woman to more than 30 years in prison.

A federal jury convicted the Memphis women in August 2011.
