(WMC-TV)- Over the July 4th holiday one Memphis apartment complex may have celebrated America's independence a little too much.
Officers were called to Foote homes yesterday to break up a large and rowdy crowd. According to the affidavit there were 600 individuals throwing bottles at officers, shooting fireworks and fighting.
The affidavit states that while officers were trying to arrest a female Deandre Wray ran up to the police grabbed the woman, whose name was not released, and started an argument with the officers. After this verbal altercation both the Wray and the police officers feel on the ground. The affidavit says the woman was released so that the police could arrest Wray.
Wray was taken to into custody.
