(WMC-TV) - Sandra Travillion is the woman seen standing by a window as a nine year old boy roughed up other children. Hitting and kicking them on surveillance video.

"Sandra Travillion was the one that was in there most of the time and she obviously did a very poor job," said Chief Walter Armstrong of the Vicksburg Police.

Travillion has been fired from Kiddie City Childcare in Vicksburg and charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

There was another employee on duty at the time of the attack. She has also been fired.

Those still working at the daycare say they are frustrated because Travillion, the worker in the video, had only worked there two weeks. They say there are misconceptions about the situation, but didn't talk on camera because the owner's attorney advised them against it.

The video has received a lot of attention and many are questioning how the boy was able to run wild as long as he did. Some wondering if this is the first time something like this has happened at the daycare.

Employees called police to the day care Wednesday claiming they were receiving threatening calls since the video surfaced.

The incident has also forced changes. The owner has hired more employees and only stays open until 8 pm. Before the video's release it was open until midnight.

Employees say the nine year old boy seen doing the kicking and hitting is out of the state, getting a mental health assessment. This claim has not been confirmed by investigators.

The Mississippi Department of Health has also visited the facility at least twice in the past two weeks. The fired employees have been called in to give statements about how this incident happened.
