(WMC-TV) - The Arkansas man accused of killing his parents and kidnapping his sister will be in a Memphis court Monday.
Action News 5 has learned new details about Whitlow's background.
According to records, Whitlow claimed to be mentally ill in 2007. His claim came before pleading guilty to assaulting a family, or member of his household.
Memphis police arrested Whitlow Saturday, just hours after his parents were found dead in their home in Little Rock.
At the time of the arrest, Whitlow had his 12-year-old sister with him. However, police said she did not seem to be harmed.
