(WMC-TV) - A North Mississippi teacher is in hot water and will have to answer to a Federal judge in Memphis next week. This comes after being linked to a teacher test-taking scheme.
Darcel Gardner, a special education teacher at Columbus High School, has been placed on Administrative leave.
According to prosecutors, she participated in the scheme in which Mid-South teacher candidates hired others to take their certification tests. If convicted, she faces up to 20 years in prison.
