(WMC-TV) - An East Tennessee school bus driver has been arrested for criminal and traffic violations after a wreck sent 26 students to the hospital.
The wreck happened on September 20, while Brenda Kay Gray was behind the wheel. The school bus overturned and rolled, leaving many students with serious injuries.
After a THP investigation Gray was charged with eight counts of reckless aggravated assault, 31 counts of felony reckless endangerment, speeding, reckless driving and failure to exercise due care.
Brenda Kay Gray is in the slammer and has a $50,000 bond.
