(WMC-TV) - Memphis residents living near a deadly chemical plant explosion want answers.
One worker died and another was critically hurt during an explosion last month at the PennAKem Chemical Plant in the Douglas community.
Antonio Parkinson, Tennessee State Representative, has called a public meeting set for Tuesday. During this meeting, he will talk about what went wrong and discuss assistance for people living in the area.
The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Douglas Community Center at 1515 Ash Street.
Organizers say representatives from PennAKem will be at that meeting as well.
