(WMC-TV) - Cheese lovers, you might want to check your fridge. Kentucky-based Kenny's Farmhouse Cheese has a recall.
The company is recalling its Kentucky Rose, Kentucky Blue, Awe-Brie, and Tomme De Nena cheeses.
Several types of cheese under recall may be contaminated with listeria.
The products were sold at farmers markets, restaurants, and retail stores in Tennessee and six other states between August 22 and September 25.
Listeria can be fatal for young children and the elderly. It can also cause miscarriages among pregnant women.
So if you have any of the items on the recall list, do yourself a favor and toss them out.
