Arrest made in string of robberies near nightclub

(WMC-TV) – An arrest has been made in connection with a string of armed robberies that have occurred near a Memphis nightclub since the beginning of September.

The robberies happened on Saturday 1, September 8, September 21, September 22, and October 14. They all happened as customers were leaving Club Eclipse on Getwell Road.

Each victim reported that they were held up by more than one suspect at gunpoint. Each person who was robbed also said the suspects fled the scene in a red Honda or red Jeep.

None of the victims were injured during the robberies.

During the course of the investigations, detectives named Nicholas Gonzales as a suspect. He was arrested and is charged with five counts of aggravated robbery.

Two suspects remain on the run. They are described as Hispanic men, about 5'3" to 5'6" tall, 160 to 180 pounds, with medium complexions and short hair. Both men were wearing bagging clothing.
