(WMC-TV) - New this morning, 17 people have indicted after a drug trafficking sweep in the Mid-South. Federal prosecutors say the charges stem from the illegal activity of selling, manufacturing, and distributing cocaine. And they go as far back as February 2012.
The suspects face 10 years to life in prison, a fine of $10,000 - or both.
And if any of them have been convicted of a previous drug felony, the punishment would double.
