(WMC-TV) - A Memphis woman stabbed her boyfriend, threw him off a balcony and then hit him with a hammer early Sunday morning, according to a police report.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim and his ex-girlfriend, 26, were involved in an altercation at which time the victim was stabbed and was thrown off a second floor balcony.
The suspect then reportedly went downstairs and hit him with a hammer.
Officers responded just after midnight to the 4100 block of Faronia, they found the victim with multiple injuries.
The victim was transported to the Med in non-critical condition, but was later downgraded to critical condition.
No arrest has been made at this point.
This investigation is ongoing.
