(WMC-TV) - Polling places in all three Mid-South states will be open up for 12 hours of voting today. And Action News 5 is your place for all Decision 2012 info and news. Here's a little helpful information for Mid-Southerners headed to the polls.

Tenn. voters, you should know the Department of Justice is looking out for you. Representatives will be monitoring the polls for problems. The Election Integrity Task Force in Memphis is a team of lawyers set up to investigate any voting problem you might have. All you have to do is call their hotline at (901) 636-6500.
Also, in Memphis (and unincorporated areas of Shelby County) voters will decide on the county sales tax for education. You have seen the battle play out among city and county leaders. Also on the ballot, the half cent sales tax on gas for the city of Memphis.
In Ark., specifically the Mid-South region, the polls open at 7:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.
A hot item on the ballot today is Issue 5, which would legalize medical marijuana. And if passed, Ark. would be the first southern state to do so.
