(WMC-TV) – An Oxford man has died as a result of injuries he received in a plane crash Wednesday.
According to NBC affiliate, KARK, the plane took off just after noon from the municipal airport in Conway, Arkansas.
Witnesses reported hearing what they described as engine trouble.
The plane, which was being flown by Robert Allen, 65, then crash-landed on a fence.
Allen was pulled from the wreckage and was taken to a hospital in critical condition. He has since died.
