(WMC-TV) – A small town is rallying around the two sisters who survived a terrifying and horrific plot that ripped their family apart.
How are the Bain sisters doing since they were rescued from the grasps of Adam Mayes six months ago?
"I can't do anything about what's already happened. My concern now is the girls, worried about their future. What has already happened has happened," said Joleta Rains, who is part of the community rallying around the sisters.
The sisters were kidnapped in May. Their older sister and mother were both murdered as part of what prosecutors say was Adam Mayes' plan all along.
What is next for the girls? How are they doing? Answers to those questions – and hear from the community that is promising to protect them, coming up Monday on Action News 5 at 10 p.m.
