(WMC-TV) – If you have ever been in the store struggling over which beer to choose, well – you could soon be in luck. The Memphis City Council is looking into a new beer ordinance.
Next Tuesday, members are scheduled to vote on allowing beer tastings in grocery stores.
The ordinance would allow customers a limited chance to "try before they buy."
City leaders say this will not turn your local grocery store into a bar, but it would allow consumers a chance to try new beers.
