(WMC-TV) - Forrest City police are on the hunt for the person responsible for the shooting of a 19-year-old Monday morning.

Investigators say the shooting appears to be over an ongoing dispute.

Dominique Tobar, 19, was shot an intersection at about 10:30 a.m. He died at the scene.

"What we discovered was the victim by himself in the driver's seat of his vehicle at this intersection, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds," said Chief Edward Reynolds, Forrest City Police Department.

Police were tipped off to the shooting by an anonymous 911 call.

In August, Action News 5 reported that Tobar was arrested for aggravated robbery and attempted first degree murder. He and Jeremy Buchanan were accused of putting a gun to a victim's head while robbing him.
