(WMC-TV) - The annual Christmas worship service at Temple of Deliverance Church was filled with worship, praise, and a special giveaway.
The church surprised about 50 children with the bike of their dreams on Christmas Day.
"I feel happy because I didn't have no bike," said 9-year-old Laila McKenzie.
Ryan Conston was happy too, especially since his last bike got was stolen.
This bike giveaway is just one of many ways Temple of Deliverance Church reaches out to people in the community.
"This is just a visual to say that we do love you but we want you to know that God loves you more than anything else," said Peggy Burnett, chuch member.
In addition to the free bikes, the kids got free helmets, too.
Pastor Milton Hawkins said the congregation also gave out a lot of toys.
Church members say this was their way of showing it is better to give than receive.
