MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to the FedExForum this weekend and this year, it is your turn to "write the rules" of the game.

There are several rules that fans can choose from, from playing with two balls at the same time, or shooting a four-point shot from 35 feet away. The possibilities are endless.

"And, what's awesome is the 4th quarter there is a live voting on the rules, and it's by a round of applause," said "Buckets" Blake, who earned his nickname for scoring a lot of baskets in a hurry.

He has been on the team for 11 years.

Aside from the new interactive fan voting feature, Blake is quick to point out that being a Globetrotter is about more than basketball.

"It's just an overall life experience, where you're not just playing ball but you're making people happy, you're developing life skills, and you're giving back," he said. "Every game that we play, parts of the game will be played with a pink basketball in honor of breast cancer awareness, and we're also gonna sell pink Harlem Globetrotters wristbands and portions of the proceeds will go to Susan G. Komen Foundation."

Blake said he has also traveled the world since joining the team, visiting dozens of countries for a variety of reasons.

"We do a military tour for our troops," he explained. "And we actually visited the troops in Afghanistan. We had fun. We played with fatigue uniforms on and they really loved that part of it. And you know, just giving them a piece of home while they're out there protecting our freedoms so we can have places to play, like the FedExForum."

The Harlem Globetrotters tip off against The Generals 7 p.m. Saturday, January 12 at The Forum.
