MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) – A Memphis man accused of stabbing his wife to death as she left work will face a judge Friday. Travis Capshaw will be in court for a preliminary hearing.

His estranged wife, Ranita Burke, worked at the Revenue Recovery office on Summer Ave.

Investigators say one afternoon back in August, Capshaw showed up at her office, sat in the parking lot, and waited for her to leave.

When she did, police say he attacked her - stabbing her with a pocket knife.

Capshaw is still locked up at 201 Poplar this morning - with no bond set.
