The Grizzlies dropped their second straight game Wednesday night, falling to the Atlanta Hawks, 103-92.
The Hawks had three players go for double-doubles in the win. Jeff Teague scored 22 points and added a season-high 13 assists, Josh Smith added 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Al Horford picked up 17 points to go along with 11 rebounds of his own.
The Grizzlies, now losers of 3 out of 4 games since trading Rudy Gay, were led by Zach Randolph and Mike Conley, who scored 20 points and 17 points, respectively.
Atlanta came into the contest on a two game losing streak, and played without key role players Zaza Pachulia, DeShawn Stevenson and swingman Anthony Morrow.
Despite those injures, the Hawks still managed to hold the Grizzlies to just 26.3 percent shooting in the third quarter.
The Grizzlies went into the half down by 10, and came out missing its first 13 shots from the field to start the third quarter and never recovered.
Jerryd Bayless contributed 15 points, and Marc Gasol added a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
