Woman identified in fatal motorcycle crash

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A woman died from her injuries after a motorcycle crash in east Nashville late Sunday night.

According to Metro police, the wreck happened at 11:15 p.m. when a Cadillac Escalade pulled out in front of the motorcycle on Dickerson Pike.

The motorcycle rider, Jennifer Mosey, 55, was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center but later died.

Police said there was no indication the driver of the Cadillac, John Donaldson, 62, or Mosey was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the crash.

The cause of the wreck was failure to yield on the part of the Donaldson, said investigators.

No charges have been filed, but the case is still under investigation.
