Super job fair held in Raleigh Tuesday

(WMC-TV) - Hundreds of people looking for work came face to face with dozens of employers looking to hire at the Raleigh United Methodist Church's annual job fair.

Of all the people who showed up to apply for jobs, Angeles Tucker managed to be the very first applicant in line when the doors opened. She showed up at 5 a.m.

"Today we have Comcast, we have FedEx, we have Gibson Guitar, we got Methodist Hospital," said Ted Hoteling, organizer.

Gibson Guitar Human Resources Director Edna Paris says she and other recruiters say the people they hire will all have one thing in common.

"That teamwork attitude and that commitment to quality," she said. "Quality is the key."

It is that kind of commitment job seekers like Tucker hopes employers will see in her.

"I would say that I'm here and I' m ready and I hope you guys are ready for me as well," she said.
