(WMC-TV) - The 19-year-old Boston Marathon suspect is facing terrorism charges by federal prosecutors.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's is charged with conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction, according to the U.S. attorney. This could result in a death penalty, according to NBC News' Pete Williams.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was captured Friday night after being found hiding in a boat in a residential neighborhood in Watertown. He was in a standoff with police for about an hour. Additional rounds were fired during the standoff, but he was taken into custody peacefully.
