(WMC-TV) - Game 1 for the Grizzlies in Oklahoma City wasn't exactly what they had planned.
A 12-point lead in the third that turned into a two-point loss has the Grizzlies headed back to the drawing board for the second game of the Western Conference semifinal.
"We have to make adjustments," Zach Randolph said.
"I don't know what we have to do. But then again, we played a good game -- controlled the game -- but gave it away at the end." Randolph scored 18 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
"It's a learning experience. Hopefully next game we'll be able to control the game like we did for most part, and hopefully close it out," said Marc Gasol, who added 20 points and 10 rebounds.
"We're gonna have to watch tape," said Quincy Pondexter, who contributed 13 points -- including a half-court buzzer-beater to end the third quarter. "This series is still really early."
The Western Conference semifinals series continues at Chesapeake Energy Arena Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.
