Stratford's Jacob Park Commits To Georgia

Stratford Quarterback Jacob Park has verbally committed to attend the University of Georgia Knights Head Coach Ray Stackley confirmed on Friday afternoon.

Park, the most heavily recruited player in the Lowcountry for the Class of 2014, had been deciding between Georgia and Alabama. He visited both schools last week and had been in contact with each multiple times over the course of the week. Finally he decided on Georgia and called Bulldogs Head Coach Mark Richt late Friday afternoon.

Park combined for over 3200 yards of total offense last season and 29 touchdowns helping to lead the Knights to a 10-3 record.

The Quarterback confirmed the news Friday evening on Twitter writing simply "Ima Dawg" and changing his AVI picture to a shot of him with a Georgia hat on.
