Sakaan in trouble with the law again

(WMC-TV) – A Memphis man who spent a month in jail for hitting and killing a Cordova man with his car is in trouble again. Twenty-year-old Samer Sakaan has been charged with theft of property over $500.

Sakaan is accused of stealing a $1,200 laptop computer.

Last year, Sakaan pleading guilty to reckless vehicular homicide after 36-year-old William Marshall was struck and killed while getting his mail.

Sakaan was sentenced to 30 days for the crime.

He posted a $6,000 bond on this latest charge and is due in court Monday morning.
