Ole Miss basketball player Marshall Henderson became well known last season because of his boisterous on-court personality.
But 'saluting' the crowd after the Rebels loss in the NCAA tournament is what got the NCAA's attention.
The Rebels guard has been issued a public reprimand from the NCAA because of what they called an 'inappropriate gesture' toward the crowd following Ole Miss' third round loss to LaSalle.
Henderson averaged more than 20 points per game last season, helping lead the Rebels to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2002.
Ole Miss head basketball coach Andy Kennedy released a statement, saying Henderson had accepted responsibility for his actions, and the team is moving forward.
