Traffic study conducted at Memphis schools

(WMC-TV) - It has been two weeks since the city council approved Myron Lowery's plan to add new speed cameras near school zones in Memphis.

That approval came after American Traffic Solutions conducted a study at two Memphis Schools; Corning Elementary School and A.B. Hill Elementary School.

The results from their study reveal just how many people drove through school zones, how many speed and the percentage of people who drive under the posted limit.

Tonight on Action News 5 at 10, Lauren Squires investigates the results of the study and what it could mean for school zones across the Mid-South.
