Convicted killer faces additional charges

(WMC-TV) - Convicted killer Michael O. Baker to face additional charges after being convicted of  first-degree murder in the case of Ronald Farmer.

Evidence shows 23-year-old Baker approached 26-year-old Farmer and his friend as they walked on Elvis Presley Boulevard near Dunn Avenue around midnight August 26, 2011. Baker first demanded money before shooting and killing Farmer.

Baker is sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole. On August 8, Baker will be sentenced for the attempted especially aggravated robbery of Ronald Farmer and for the attempted aggravated robbery of the second victim. Baker does have prior felony convictions.
