(WMC-TV) - Every year, it seems there is a star who comes out of the NBA's summer league. And this year, that star just may be Germantown's own Ian Clark.
Clark was named MVP of the Vegas title game, posting 33 points, including seven of 10 from 3-point range to lead the Golden State to a 91-77 victory over Phoenix in the championship game Monday.
The performance is nothing new for the former Germantown and Belmont star. Playing for both the Warriors and Magic, he scored in double figures in nine of 12 summer league games.
That is likely to get the attention of teams across the league and in Europe.
Clark went undrafted in this year's draft after leading the Bruins to three NCAA tournament appearances, and being named OVC player of the year his senior season.
