(WMC-TV) - The Memphis Grizzlies quest for an NBA title begins on the road for the second straight season.
The NBA has released it's full schedule, and the Grizzlies will start their season by taking on the Spurs in San Antonio.
The first of 4 meetings with the Western Conference Champions, who swept Memphis in four games, ending the Grizzlies' first Western Conference final appearance.
The first home game for the Grizzlies, get your Grit/Grind attire ready, is Friday, November 1st, against Detroit.
The Grizzlies will be featured on national television 13 times this season, including the 12th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Game against former Tiger Tyreke Evans and the New Orleans Pelicans on NBA-TV Monday, Jan. 20 at 4 p.m.
The Grizzlies will have a season-long six-game home stand from Nov. 30-Dec. 11, the team's longest home stretch since March 2006.
It includes games against the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
The Grizzlies will also play 10 games in December, wrapping up the calendar year by hosting Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls on Monday, Dec. 30.
San Antonio will make its second visit to Memphis on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m., while Oklahoma City will return to FedExForum one week later on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m.
Identical to last season, 11 of the Grizzlies' 17 games in the month of March will come on the road.
