TALLMADGE, OH (WOIO) -

19 Action News Reporter Dan Deroos spoke with Tallmadge investigators Tuesday evening regarding any new developments in the murders of Wendy Ralston and her 5-year-old son Peyton.

It's been three days and police are still guarding the home.

On Saturday, August 10, Wendy's mother discovered her daughter and grandson dead in the woods behind the home.

Investigators say that the murders could have occurred as far back as July 22nd. That was the last time Wendy was heard from.

Authorities say all the knives in the home tested negative for blood and that there was small amount of blood found inside the home.

Leading Lt. Ronald Williams believes whatever happened occurred inside the home then the bodies dumped in the woods.

Wendy's live-in boyfriend, who is also Peyton's father, has been questioned by police. We're told he's been very cooperative and very calm.
