No injures in Memphis house fire

(WMC-TV) - Firefighters and residents are safe after an early morning house fire Friday.

According to the news release, 34 emergency personnel responded to call at 3551 Rochester Road.

Firefighters have confirmed the home did not have a working smoke detector.

The total damage is estimated at $52,000.

The City of Memphis offers free smoke detectors to all residents. If interested, contact the Fire Museum of Memphis at 901-636-5650 for more information.
