Bethune-Cookman's Anthony Jordan was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Offensive Player of the Week,Michael Jones of North Carolina A&T was named Rookie of the Week, while teammate Will Ray Robinson was selected as the Offensive Lineman of the Week. N.C. Central's Adrian Wilkins earned Special Teams Player of the Week honors respectively.
Thomas (LB, 6-1, 225, Sr., Blackville, S.C.) collected 12 tackles, 11 solo, with five for a loss of 31 yards, including three sacks for a 20-yard loss against Alabama A&M. He also added one breakup in the win.
Wilson (DB, 5-11, 195, Sr., Athens, Ga.) set a new Division I FCS record for interceptions in a single game with three for 28 yards as the Tigers picked up their first win of season against Fort Valley State. Wilson added five tackles, four solo, with one pass breakup in the 27-20 victory.
