Crews battle house fire in Norwood

NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

Emergency crews were called to a house fire Thursday evening in Norwood.

It was reported around 6:45 p.m. in the 1900 block of Hudson Avenue. The three-story building, home to four Xavier University students, is located near the Montgomery Road intersection.

Fire officials say the four residents and a guest at the home all got out safely.

The fire left the home uninhabitable. Authorities have not yet released the damage amount or the cause of the fire.
