2 shot at home in Springfield; suspect in custody

SPRINGFIELD, TN (WSMV) -

A former city official from suburban Chattanooga is suspected of shooting two people on Foxrun in Springfield Wednesday night.

Thresa Hamill, 60, and Robert Hollway, 65, were both shot twice Wednesday night at a home in Springfield.

Investigators said windows were shot out and that they found bullet casings all over the place.

The suspect - Hamill's ex-husband, 63-year-old Robert Hamill - was found in the home after the shooting and was arrested.

Emergency workers were able to rush the victims to the hospital. They are expected to recover.
