Tigers fall at Houston

(WMC-TV) - Freshman kicker Jake Elliott connected on field goals from 33, 50, 24, 38 and 42 for the Tigers, but it wasn't enough to beat Houston, falling 25-15.

John O'Korn threw for 198 yards and a touchdown and Kenneth Farrow ran for two second-half touchdowns to help the Cougars remain undefeated.

The Tigers out-gained Houston 349 yards to 247, but Memphis couldn't overcome 4-turnovers, all fumbles.

Paxton Lynch was 21 of 41 for 222 yards passing, and Brandon Hayes rushed 12 times for 72 yards to lead the Tigers (1-4, 0-2).
