Man killed in shooting early Saturday morning

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

A homicide at a late night hangout has Kansas City, KS, police investigating Saturday morning.

One person was shot to death at Trails End Ranch, located on North 47th Terrace just off of Sortor Drive. Police were called to the location just after 4 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found a man in his mid-20s dead from a gunshot wound.

The victim's identity won't be released until he has been positively identified and his family is notified.

Police said they don't have anybody in custody and were questioning witnesses at the scene. They ask that anyone with information call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
