Freebie Friday: face painting, waxing, haircut!

(WMC-TV) – Every Friday at 6 a.m. on Action News 5, Lindsey Brown will give you the lowdown on what you can do, eat, and find for free around Memphis.

Here is a look at the deals Lindsey dug up for this weekend:

This Freebie Friday is full of fall and spooky Halloween fun. There are cool, free things to do for all ages.

Load the family up on Saturday for a free fall harvest festival at the Agricenter's Farmers Market. It's from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. in the evening. There will be face painting, pumpkin painting, a petting zoo, games, and hay rides. For more information, call 901-757-7777.

Halloween night, parents have the option to take those 12-years-old and younger to a free, scary face pancake at IHOP. Not only does that take care of dinner, but it could be a fun way for children to decorate their food before they eat it. As a precaution, always call before arriving at your local IHOP to ensure your local restaurant is participating.

This next deal is for the adults. Do you have any unwanted hair? Well, European Wax Center will do your first waxing on the house if you are a new customer. This applies to men and ladies.

Women can receive a complimentary eyebrow, underarm, or bikini line wax. The option is also there for females to upgrade to a Brazilian wax for 50 percent off. The free option for men is a complimentary eyebrow, ear, or nose wax. Click here for more information: http://www.waxcenter.com/waxing/women.

The last Freebie Friday featured is a buy one, get one free haircut at the Paul Mitchell School of Memphis. Originally, the school had to close because a transformer blew knocking out power to the salon. Now, they are honoring the deal this Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26. The school is located at 8000 US HW 64, Suite 108 in Bartlett, Tennessee. For more information, call (901) 377-1701.

There is one more freebie for Lindsey's Facebook contest winner. She asked on Facebook that you send her your best costume picture and the winner is Kell Yarwood-Gustafson. Kell Yarwood-Gustafson won two tickets to watch Hocus Pocus Saturday night at AutoZone Park. Special thanks goes out to the Redbirds for these free tickets.

WMCTV.COM exclusive:

Chipotle is offering a major discount for Halloween! On October 31, Chipotle is offering a $3 burrito, salad, or order of tacos to customers that visit dressed up in a costume. This deal is from 4 p.m. until closing.
