(WMC-TV) - Fast Cars turning left at more than 100 miles per hour returns to the Round Track in the Bluff City this weekend...

It's the Racing is Back Memphis 250 at Memphis International Raceway...

This event on the ARCA circuit brings the future of Stock Car Racing back to the Oval Asphalt, which has been dormant since 2009.

Second Generation drivers Ross Kenseth, the Son of NASCAR Champion Matt Kenseth and Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace son Stephen Wallace headline a growing list of quality drivers entered.

"This racetrack is extremely exciting to drive and it makes for a good race for the fans. It's short, it's fast and there's beatin' and bangin' and the fans like that stuff. I'm really excited to be back, I expect the race to be a lot of fun and put on a good show for the fans," says Wallace, who raced here in the Busch and Nationwide series.

Champion Racing Association will host two 125 lap races...one each for the Super Late Models of the ARCA/CRA Super Series and the JEG'S Pro/ Crate Late Models
