Man creates fake IRS forms in retaliation against prosecutor

(WMC-TV) - A federal grand jury indicted a Memphis man Monday on charges that he created false Internal Revenue Service (IRS) documents in retaliation against a Germantown prosecutor.

According to a Department of Justice news release, 31-year-old Justin A. Jones filed the fictitious documents to cause the IRS to charge the prosecutor. This prosecutor was assigned to Jones' criminal case.

Two of the IRS forms totaled to $25,000 each.

If convicted, Jones could receive up to three years in prison without parole and a fine up to $250,000.
