(WMC-TV) - A Memphis woman has been arrested 117 times in the last 30 years. Theresa Little was just in court on a theft case a week before her newest arrest.

Now an organization is asking if Little should face incarceration or medication.

"Let's really help the people that really need help that have drug addictions, that have mental problems," said Back on Your Feet Ministries assistant director Leslie Washington.

Trial was delayed when deputies discovered Little brought cocaine with her to court. She picked up a fresh set of charges.

"She wasn't convicted of 116," said Washington. "The ones she was convicted of she paid the bill, she did her time. The other ones were thrown out or dismissed, whatever the case was."

Washington says he is concerned about Little's mental health and potential addiction issues. He says behind bars may not be the best place for her.

"We're trying to get the message out that, hey, we have a lot of people that is in this system that really don't need incarceration, they need medication," he said.

Little's attorney says he does not talk to the media. Little told our Action News 5 reporter that there are far worse things out here to talk about.

Her case in criminal court was reset to December 5.
