(WMC-TV) – Get out your growl towels! The Memphis Grizzlies take the court Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors and it also marks the grand opening of a new, upscale lounge at FedExForum.
Grizzlies' fans are hoping for a lot of grit and grind, when Rudy Gay and the Raptors come here to FedExForum.
Wednesday night will be Gay's first appearance since he was traded to Toronto last year.
Gay, who didn't want to leave Memphis, says he doesn't want revenge on the Grizzlies, but he is happy for one thing.
"We got in last night; went to my house, slept in my bed for the first time in a while. It felt good to be back," Gay said.
The Raptors' visit to FedExForum coincides with the opening of a new restaurant lounge at the arena.
Fly Lounge is located in the Grand Lobby on the Plaza Level.
It's an upscale combination of nightlife and dining, brought to you by award-winning chef Kelly English of Restaurant Iris in Midtown.
Keep in mind Wednesday night's events at Fly Lounge are by invitation only.
Tip-off against the Raptors is at 7 p.m.
