(WMC-TV) - Fuel Café, the eclectic American restaurant known for all natural ingredients, in Midtown started selling their veggie burgers in the East Memphis Whole Foods Market.

Some may be more familiar with the Fuel Food Truck which is an extension of Fuel Café.

"I've always liked Whole Foods' philosophy with all natural foods, it's a good fit and I feel like it's a good place to expand my business," said owner Erik Proveaux.

Proveaux said the veggie burgers will be made in the Midtown restaurant and sold in the deli case in Whole Foods.

He said the goal is to start in Memphis and then move regionally, eventually he hopes to sell them packaged.

If the demand for the veggie burgers increase then Proveaux said he would start a production kitchen specifically for the burgers.

Proveaux said he has everything in the works for the veggie burgers to start selling at Whole Foods next week, but that's a tentative date.

Fuel Café has been open for three years, the Fuel Food Truck started making its round roughly a year ago.

They also cater parties, weddings, fund raisers, festivals and events.

Fuel Cafe serves all natural food and serves organic food as much as possible.
