Eastbound lanes on I-40 reopen after crash

(WMC-TV) – Traffic on Interstate 40 is running smoothly again after a multi-vehicle crash shut down lanes for hours Monday night.

At least three vehicles were involved in the crash that happened on I-40 eastbound, west of Highway 64. At one point, traffic was backed up past Sycamore View Road.

A medical helicopter picked up one crash victim.
